Report: Saraya signs three-year deal with AEW

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is reporting through his select service that Saraya has signed a three-year deal with AEW and the amount of money she is receiving makes it seem like that she will be getting in the ring eventually.

Saraya, who made her debut last week at Dynamite: Grand Slam, addressed the AEW crowd last night in the ring. The Brit said that while she was damaged, she is not broken and will bring change to the AEW women’s division.

AEW Women’s champion Toni Storm, Madison Rayne, Skye Blue, Willow Nightingale, and Athena all came out after Saraya invited the whole women’s locker room to join. She labeled Storm as the best AEW Women’s champ, which didn’t get the full approval from the crowd for obvious reasons.

Her speech was interrupted by Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, Penelope Ford, and Rebel. Baker told her that she’s just a catchphrase and that her neck is strong enough to put it on the line for AEW, unlike Saraya’s. Baker then made fun of Saraya’s name.

Saraya told Baker that it’s odd that she was making fun of her name and that Brit’s name rhymes with shit, a word which was bleeped out by TBS.

Saraya remains not cleared to wrestle which is why there have not been any physical action yet in the ring.
