Samoa Joe signs with AEW, appears at ROH’s Supercard of Honor

Former NXT champion Samoa Joe has signed with All Elite Wrestling and last night appeared on the ROH Supercard of Honor show as a surprise to close the broadcast.

Joe, who has not wrestled since winning the NXT title from Karrion Kross last year, was the surprise that Tony Khan hinted, coming out at the end to save new unified champion Jonathan Gresham.

After the show, Khan tweeted the usual “is All Elite” graphic for Samoa Joe and revealed that he will be on Dynamite this coming Wednesday.

Joe was released from WWE in January of this year after getting rehired nine months earlier by Triple H for NXT.
