William Regal bids farewell to Blackpool Combat Club

William Regal bid farewell to the Blackpool Combat Club in a tweet today as his time with AEW is coming to an end later this month.

Attaching a photo of himself, Moxley, Castagnoli, Danielson, and Yuta, and a link to his favorite song, Regal wrote, “To the members of the BCC. My favourite song by my favourite band who somehow knew when I was a child to write the story that is my life. It’s been a pleasure fellas. We’ll meet again.”

The song is called Far Far Away by the band Slade which includes the lyrics, “And I’m far, far away, with my feet down in the crowds, letting loose around the world, but the call of home is loud, still as loud.”

Regal appeared in a pre-taped backstage segment on Dynamite last night, explaining that the only way people would see the interview with Schiavone is if something bad happened to him. He said that he turned on the group because the BCC didn’t need him anymore and they can teach Wheeler Yuta how to be the best themselves.
