Ashley Massaro’s brother stabbed to death in New York

The brother of former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro, Ronald, was stabbed to death last month in Midtown Manhattan.

His identification was published by the New York Post, New York Daily News, and other local newspapers after the police released his name on Monday.

Ronald, who was 39 years old, was stabbed on November 21 at just after 9PM when he was outside a 2 Bros Pizza location near Eight Avenue and West 38th Street according to a police report. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital but died despite efforts to save his life.

His killer, Lawrence Downey, aged 59, was identified and arrested the next day. He was charged with murder and is in jail held without bail.

His sister Ashley also passed away at age 39 last year as well after committing suicide. She had been battling depression for a long time and raised a red flag when she did not show up to work at a local radio station. She was found hung in her home.
