Austin responds to Piper’s claims over PodcastOne show removal

A couple of days ago, Rowdy Roddy Piper blamed Stone Cold Steve Austin for his removal from PodcastOne, the company which hosted his podcast. Piper had actor and wrestling fan Will Sasso on doing Austin impersonations and after the show aired it was soon removed from PodcastOne for good. Piper said that Austin complained to PodcastOne and had the show taken off the air.

However fellow WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin addressed these rumors on his show, which is one of the most popular on PodcastOne, and shot down Piper’s claims, saying that he has no time for any of this crap at 50 years of age.

Austin said that he called Kit Gray, the President of PodcastOne, to get the truth on the story and Gray told him that Piper requested a meeting with him and said that he no longer wanted to be part of the PodcastOne family so Piper left. Austin added that there are no hard feelings against Piper but the accusations he made were false.

Piper uploaded his latest podcast episode on Soundcloud.com.
