Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge reality show renewed for season 4

CMT announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge reality TV show has been renewed for season 4.

The show had its premiere in July 2014 and airs every Sunday night at 8PM EST. Each season, Austin brings a group of eight contestants, either all men or all women, to compete in a series of physical challenges. Season 1 and 2 had 10 episodes each while season 3 had a total of 18 episodes and aired for four months.

“Broken Skull Challenge set a new bar for competition series that both inspire and drive its fans,” Jayson Dinsmore, head of development for CMT said. “The series has certainly earned its rep as the toughest show on television and we can’t wait to see what Steve’s planned for this season.”

The show is produced by 51 Minds Entertainment and Endemol. Steve Austin serves as one of the executive producers as well apart from hosting the show.
