AXS TV gives sneak peek of Jim Ross doing commentary for NJPW

AXS TV, the home of New Japan Pro Wrestling in the United States, has uploaded a sneak peek of WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross calling the action with Josh Barnett.

Ross will make his NJPW AXS TV debut on March 4 which will feature WWE NXT’s Shinsuke Nakamura vs Hirooki Goto. This is Ross’ first full-time commentary gig since leaving WWE and his second time calling NJPW after last year he did NJPW’s WrestleKingdom 9 pay-per-view for Jeff Jarrett.

JR is doing the commentary with Barnett in Los Angeles, taping several episodes at a time. His voice won’t be part of NJPW’s online streaming service as his deal is with AXS TV.

Ross will also be doing boxing commentary for CBS Sports Network with a deal to be announced next Tuesday at a press conference in Las Vegas.
