Bellator MMA in negotiations with the man formerly known as Alberto Del Rio

MMAFighting.com is reporting that according to Bellator MMA President Scott Coker, the promotion is in talks with former WWE champion Alberto Del Rio.

“I’m not sure where that is and by no means is it in the 11th hour, but I know there’s some dialogue going on,” Coker told the website.

Del Rio is not new to the world of mixed martial arts and has 14 professional MMA fights under his belt with a record of 9-5. His MMA debut came in 2001 and he last fought in February 2010 just before he signed with the WWE.
