Bill Simmons working on Andre The Giant documentary for HBO

Page Six is reporting that former ESPN personality and huge WWE fan Bill Simmons will be working on a documentary about Andre The Giant for his first work with HBO.

Simmons, who six months ago was fired from ESPN, joined HBO three months later. His website, the highly regarded Grantland.com, was dropped by ESPN last week and has since shut down.

There is no information on how Simmons or HBO will tackle this documentary but HBO has some of the best documentary makers in the world working for them.

Simmons was recently at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view in Los Angeles, California, and is often found ringside for shows in that area.
