Bret Hart talks about “wild weekend” at WrestleMania

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart spoke for the first time publicly following the incident at the Hall of Fame ceremony last weekend.

In a post on Facebook, Bret noted the “wild weekend” he had, first thanking WWE for their hospitality with his family and friends, and for honoring him and Neidhart at the ceremony.

“Regarding the ceremony, firstly I want to let everyone know that I am okay and was not injured. If there’s one thing I want everyone to take away from the Hall of Fame ceremony is not so much what happened, but how I wasn’t going to let anything stop me from completing my tribute to my best friend and our team,” Hart wrote.

He concluded by saying he’s also very glad he got to join Natalya and Beth Phoenix at the top of the ramp for their WrestleMania moment and thanked everyone for their messages.
