Dwayne Johnson’s Ballers TV show debuts on HBO tonight

The Rock’s new television show Ballers debuts tonight on HBO starting at 10PM EST.

Ballers revolves around Spencer – played by Dwayne Johnson – who is a retired football superstar who is trying to reinvent himself as a financial manager for current football players in Miami. Joining the former WWE champ are Rob Corddry (Childrens Hospital), Omar Miller (CSI: Miami), John David Washington (Malcolm X) and Donovan Carter.

Mark Wahlberg – who worked with The Rock on Pain and Gain – serves as one of the executive producers along with Steve Levinson and Peter Berg.

Ballers received a 10-episode order from HBO and is a 30 minute show.
