Dwayne Johnson’s Red Notice becomes the most-watched movie ever on Netflix

The Red Notice movie featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the leading role has now become the most-watched movie in Netflix history, with fans streaming 328.8 million viewing hours. The previous record was held by Bird Box, a movie with Sandra Bullock which came out in 2018 and had 282 million viewing hours.

Netflix said that 50% of all of it’s worldwide subscribers have watched Red Notice and the movie remains #1 for Netflix in 94 different countries. It took Red Notice just 18 days to break all streaming records for Netflix.

“Holy shit,” Johnson wrote on Twitter reacting to the news. “F’n insane!”

The movie also has Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds supporting Johnson and while it took $200 million to produce, another record for Netflix, the money looks to be well-spent considering the impressive statistics.
