Former Impact and NJPW star Michael Elgin goes missing but is later located

Former Impact Wrestling and NJPW star Michael Elgin went missing yesterday but has since been found.

Elgin, who was fired from Impact in June 2020 after several sexual assault allegations were made against him as part of the #SpeakingOut movement, sent a worrying message on Facebook and left a note at home.

Fearing for the worst, his sponsor then took to social media to say that he and his wife went to his house since they have a spare key and he was gone, leaving his phone behind. The sponsor, named Eric, said that he’s been helping him through a lot of things lately and hoped that Elgin, real name Aaron Frobel, “just went somewhere to clear his head.”

Another friend of his also posted on Facebook about Elgin going missing and said they just “want to bring him home safely.”

Impact Wrestling referee Brandon Tolle, who also shared the message, then posted late yesterday that he was found, although no further news about his condition was posted.
