Goldberg thinking of “four city world tour” for wrestling retirement

Appearing on 93.7 The Ticket for a 15-minute interview, WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg said that he and Vince McMahon have a handshake agreement that he would get a proper sendoff with a retirement match but there’s no hint on when that might come, if it comes at all.

Goldberg said he’s been waiting for a year now as the agreement was done after he did the job for Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber 2022 in Saudi Arabia. He is now no longer under a WWE contract.

“Nobody puts a stamp on my career. Nobody tells me when I’m done, period. End of story. And when somebody tells me that, I kind of like to fight against it,” Goldberg told host Adam Carriker.

The former Universal champion said he likes to do things his own way and he wants to go out on his own way and definitely won’t go out under Roman Reigns three weeks after he had COVID.

“If I go on a world tour and promote it myself, that’s a possibility,” he continued. “I’m a businessman and I’m fortunately in the position, I firmly believe, to where I can still make it happen.”

Goldberg said he believes that his character does deserve the proper sendoff and until someone makes that happen, he won’t be hanging up his boots.

“I’m very much leaning toward promoting it myself and doing a four city world tour. So, let the rumor mill start up after that,” he said.
