Jim Ross’ wife Jan passes away

Jim Ross’ wife Jan passed away last night from the injuries she suffered stemming from an accident three days ago in Norman, Oklahoma.

Jan, 55, was riding her Vespa and was hit from behind by a car driven by a 17-year-old male. Unfortunately she was not wearing her helmet and the impact resulted in a catastrophic brain injury and multiple skull fractures. Her scooter also caught fire following the accident.

JR admitted that only a miracle would have saved her life and in an update yesterday, he said she was only alive thanks to the life support machines. Later in the day, he wrote, “A Priest gave my wife Jan her last rites tonight. My little Angel is gone.”

The WWE Hall of Famer said that no experience in his life could have prepared him for this life changing event. He was introduced to Jan by Ric Flair decades ago when she was working as a flight attendant and got married in 1993.

Tons of former co-workers and friends sent in their condolences on Twitter. Our prayers and thoughts are with Jim Ross during this difficult period.
