The scheduled preliminary hearing set for this morning involving Jimmy Snuka and his third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter charges has been postponed.
The Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office filed a motion to request a bill of information is approved by the court without a preliminary hearing. The bill of information is a written statement that accuses Snuka of the crime and the request to go straight to a trial. Snuka’s attorney, William E. Moore, removed himself from the case when the Hall of Famer was charged due to a prior commitment and it’s not known if he has a new attorney yet.
“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka was arrested in the beginning of September for the 1983 murder of his mistress Nancy Argentino. He surrendered himself at the Lehigh County Courthouse in a wheelchair and hooked up to a feeding tube.
