Former AEW and Impact Wrestling star Kylie Rae returned to the ring and has now signed with the NWA.
Rae, who was set to wrestle Impact Knockouts champ Deonna Purrazzo at last October’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view, abruptly quit the promotion and did not show up for the show. She then took to social media to announce that she would be retiring from professional wrestling. Rae also quit AEW before that with the promotion opting not to discuss what went down.
At yesterday’s When Our Shadows Fall pay-per-view, Rae was the surprise tag team partner of Taryn Terell in their match against Thunder Rosa and Melina.
PWInsider.com adds that Rae signing with the NWA involved getting an agreement with Impact Wrestling since they were her last employer when she decided to announce her retirement. Per the website, a deal was reached around a week ago, paving the way for Rae to sign for the NWA.
