Linda and Vince McMahon donate over $1 million to Republicans so far

Politico.com is running a story on Vince and Linda McMahon and their generous donations to the Republican party and several PACs.

Titled “Linda McMahon ready to rumble as mega donor,” the article states that so far in 2014, the McMahons already contributed about $1 million to federal candidates, party committees and super PACs, including Karl Rove’s American Crossroads, the research and tracking group America Rising and TD Ameritrade founder Joe Ricketts’ group Ending Spending, according to a review of public finance records.

The article states that before Linda threw herself into politics, the most she and Vince donated was $30,000 in 2006 and 2008.

Politico also looks at Linda’s influence in politics even though she’s not running for Senate or any other campaign and her support to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, whose voice over opened last year’s WrestleMania.
