Major news outlets cover Roddy Piper’s passing

As expected, all major media outlets and those who don’t usually cover professional wrestling, covered the untimely death of WWE Hall of Famer Rowdy Roddy Piper, including MMA websites due to the connection of his nickname with Ronda Rousey.

CNN, Washington Post, Esquire, ESPN, Entertainment Weekly, FOX Sports, CBS Sports, Yahoo! News, The Associated Press, BBC, The Guardian, and more.

In many of these websites, the Piper story was one of the most read stories for the day.
