Mauro Ranallo to host reality TV show for CBS

Former Smackdown and NXT commentator Mauro Ranallo is returning to television…as the host of a new reality TV series for CBS.

Titled Beyond The Edge, Ranallo will be heading up the show which will feature nine celebrities who trade in their luxurious life to live in the jungles of Panama for epic adventures and to see if they can push themselves beyond their comfort zone in the most brutal conditions.

The season premieres on Wednesday, March 16 at 9PM ET.

Colton Underwood, Craig Morgan, Eboni K. Williams, Jodie Sweetin, Lauren Alaina, Metta World Peace, Mike Singletary, Paulina Porizkova, and Ray Lewis will be the nine celebs who will be raising money for charity during the show.

Ranallo last appeared for a wrestling promotion in April of last year when he did commentary for Rich Swann vs Kenny Omega at Impact’s Rebellion pay-per-view.
