New James Bond movie Spectre with Dave Bautista out today

The new James Bond movie, titled Spectre, opens today in the United States starring Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Monica Bellucci, Ralph Fiennes, and former WWE champion Dave Bautista. Bautista is another WWE star that has made the successful transition to the Hollywood big screen and there will likely be more to follow as this article points out.

This is Bautista’s second major motion picture following the successful release of Guardians of the Galaxy where he portrayed the Drax The Destroyer character. In Spectre, Bautista plays the role of Mr. Hinx, an assassin and a high-ranking member of Spectre.

The movie is set to make millions of dollars in the United States and worldwide and is expected to break previous James Bond records. In the United Kingdom, the preview screenings on Monday did $6.4 million while on Tuesday, the proper release day, it grossed $9.2 million, the highest of any movie in the United Kingdom.

The former champ has three movies lined up, Heist with Robert De Niro which is in post-production, Kickboxer: Vengeance with Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Marauders, with Bruce Willis, with the last two movies currently filming.
