Rob Van Dam says he had permission from WWE to appear on Dynamite

Rob Van Dam addressed those blasting him for appearing on AEW Dynamite saying he had the blessing of WWE to appear.

The WWE Hall of Famer, whose last appearance on WWE TV was just a few months ago during the draft episode, wrote that fans keep heckling him for doing “WWE wrong” by appearing on AEW.

“I wonder if they would all eat shit if I revealed that I had permission to do it,” RVD wrote on X. “Or would they just move on to puke out the next meaningless bullshit that comes out of their mouths?”

The former WWE and ECW champion took on Jack Perry for the FTW title last week but unfortunately came up short in his quest to win – and retire – the title once owned by his ECW arch rival Taz.
