Discussing stepping back into the ring one more time, Stone Cold Steve Austin hinted at eventually having another match during a recent episode of his Steve Austin podcast.
“For the last couple of weeks, down there at the Raw Reunion in Tampa, down there at the Madison Square Garden show at Monday Night Raw, people ask me, ‘Hey man, you’re still in really good shape. You got one more match left in you?’ And I tell them, ‘Man, you know, it’s a tough thing to think about,'” Austin said.
Austin noted that physically he would be able to have one more match and he could make it through without being injured, although he said that risks are always there due to all his surgeries.
“Nerves are feeling a lot better than they used to. So, you know, in theory, could I have a match? In theory, yes,” Austin continued.
With the recent Saudi Arabia shows, WWE has been able to afford bringing all their biggest legends back and money even got Shawn Michaels out of retirement for another match.
Austin has also joined the list of Legends and Hall of Famers who will be appearing on the 20th anniversary of Smackdown next week on FOX.
