WWE Hall of Famer and baseball great Pete Rose passed away yesterday at the age of 83. His cause of death remains unknown.

Rose, best known for ending his baseball career with a record-breaking 4,256 hits, has made several WWE appearances throughout the years, and for three years in a row made it to WrestleMania only to get attacked by Kane.

At WrestleMania XIV, Rose was the guest ring announcer for the Kane vs Undertaker match but he ran down the Boston crowd and Kane took him out with a Tombstone.

At WrestleMania XV, Rose tried to get his revenge on Kane and dressed as the San Diego Chicken in a bid to attack the Big Red Machine. Obviously, that did not work and Kane hit another Tombstone on him.

He also appeared at WrestleMania 2000 and this time he tried to attack Kane with a baseball bat. But he got a chokeslam for his trouble and a stink face from Rikishi.

Two years later, Rose was part of the No Mercy commercial where he also got another chokeslam from Kane.

In 2004, Pete Rose became the first celebrity to enter the celerity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame and was inducted by his arch rival Kane.

As a baseball player, Rose played for the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and Montreal Expos. He also managed the Reds before he was banned for life by the Major League Baseball after he admitted that he had bet on several sports.
