Young Rock to start airing in Australia on May 2

The Young Rock NBC series will start airing in Australia on May 2 on FOX8.

Filming of the series, which is based on the life of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, actually took place at the Screen Queensland Studios in Queensland, Australia and kicked off in November 2020.

Apart from Johnson, who appears in every episode as a U.S. presidential candidate, the series stars Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Ana Tuisila, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, and Uli Latukefu in the leading roles.

The 11-episode, 30-minute series will finish airing in the United States on May 4 with a final episode titled Election Day.
