Dave Bautista wins MMA debut in the first round

Dave Bautista won his MMA debut yesterday night defeating MMA veteran Vince Lucero in the first round after the referee stopped the fight with just over a minute to go.

The former WWE and World Heavyweight champion was on the receiving end of some hard shots in the opening two and a half minutes and wasn’t good in trying to defend himself, finding himself backed up against the cage while Lucero pummeled him.

However Bautista then landed a takedown, pinned his opponent’s right arm, took his back, and started hammering down on Lucero and the referee stepped in after Lucero couldn’t protect himself better.
