Donald Cerrone takes home two of the night’s bonuses

Donald Cerrone returned home to Colorado and will be leaving with an extra $120,000. Cerrone and Melvin Guillard went all out for 76 seconds. Cerrone came out aggressive and was knock down and took a knee to the face before he landed the shin to the top of The Young Assassin’s head.

As Guillard did everything he could to stay upright on two limp noodles for legs, Cerrone seized the chance and charged forward with his right hand out and put Guillard out cold. That kick and punch won him the Fight of The Night Bonus for the comeback and Knock Out of the Night and each came with sixty grand.

Melvin Guillard took home the other half the Fight of the Night and $60,000 for his troubles.

Six of the ten fights tonight were ended by TKO or KO. Three came judges decisions and the only one the came by submission was Dennis Bermudez who ended his fight with Tommy Hayden by a guillotine choke in the first round.

Bermudez also had to come back from being dropped as moments earlier he ate a knee to the face that put him on the mat. Dennis “The Menace” was able to lock in the standing guillotine choke for the win with under thirty seconds left in the first round. Bermudez will take home $60,000 of his own and the Submission of the night award.
