Shane Carwin pulled from TUF finale fight against Nelson

The coaches of the current season of The Ultimate Fighter will not fight against each other as expected as Shane Carwin had to be pulled from the fight due to a knee injury.

The rumored opponent for the other coach, Roy Nelson, is none other than former fellow TUF 10 cast member Matt Mitrione. The fight is not official yet but according to MMAFighting.com, both of them have verbally agreed to fight each other.

Carwin last fought in June 2011 when he lost to Junior Dos Santos in Vancouver. He has been on the shelf since October of last year when he had to undergo back surgery.
