WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth Pick’em report

Hello everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA here with you for the Elimination Chamber pick’em report! It’s way past midnight here in Minneapolis, but I’m in it for the long haul tonight, baby! I am here to reclaim my WOPC Championship from the legendary Colin Vassallo – we pretty much see eye-to-eye on tonight’s show, but the devil is in the details…who will walk into WrestleMania XL as the champion? Let’s find out.

ON WITH THE PICKS!!

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) vs. Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae

Magnum: Well, this match came out of nowhere. Indi and Candice don’t strike me as the #1 Contenders for these titles. Then again, I’m happy for Indi to get a title match in her home country. Unfortunately, things won’t go The Way they’d hope (see what I did there?)…look for the Kabuki Warriors to retain.

Colin: Nice of them to give Indi a showing here in Australia. Like, there’s no way on God’s green earth this will have a title change. I would bet my whole life savings on it LOL! So yeah, Asuka and Sane for the win.

Elimination Chamber – Winner Faces the Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania XL
Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Raquel Rodriguez

Magnum: I’m thinking this has the potential to be the best Women’s Chamber match of all time. All of the women are super athletic, hard-hitting, and most of them have delivered on the big stage. This could lead to a breakout performance for someone like Raquel or my homestate girl Tiffy (shoutout to Prior Lake, MN!), but it could also be a return to form for someone like Liv or Naomi. Either way, all of these women deserve this spotlight…but in the end, The Man will create her path to Mania by getting the duke. Give me Becky Lynch for the win!

Bonus Question #1: What two wrestlers will start the match? (One point for each correct answer) Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan
Bonus Question #2: Who will be the final entrant into the match? Raquel Rodriguez

Colin: I am hoping that Tiffany Stratton gets her time to shine here and wish she could do the moonsault from the top of the pod. That would be an awesome visual. Not expecting any of the Smackdown stars to win it for the obvious reasons and Becky Lynch makes the most sense here and it’s the biggest money match against Ripley at the moment. The Man wins.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) (c) vs. New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate)

Magnum: The Big Strong Boy and the Bruiserweight are going to pose a formidable challenge to The Judgment Day – the NCR also came out of nowhere to become the top challengers, don’t you think? Regardless, I would expect Priest and Bálor to hold serve and keep those titles in a match that could steal the show.

Colin: This should be a very good match I think. Dunne and Bate are awesome and can hang in there with anyone. Having said that, I still see Judgment Day winning this match and go on to WrestleMania with the belts.

WWE Women’s World Championship
Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax

Magnum: You know, we listed this match second to last on the card…but don’t be surprised if this is your main event…and what a main event it would be. Nia is so good at being unlikable – for the traditional marks, it’s easy to despise her because she has that resting witch face and her unpleasant personality. For the smart marks, it’s even easier! She’s totally unsafe in the ring, and she takes more liberties than anyone else in the Women’s division. I will take delight in watching Rhea rock Nia’s world. I am calling the highspot right now: Rhea bodyslams Jax, channeling the climax of Mania III. Looking forward to this one, big time! Rhea retains.

Colin: Can you imagine the heat if Nia beats Rhea in Australia? I would not put it past them. Old WWE regime would have probably done that but yeah, it would be mental if Rhea loses. She’s the most over female star they have and it makes no sense to drop it before WrestleMania. Rhea wins.

Elimination Chamber – Winner Faces the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XL
Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. Bobby Lashley vs. LA Knight vs. Kevin Owens vs. Logan Paul

Magnum: This is the most excited I’ve been for the Men’s Chamber match in years. In prior Men’s Chamber matches, a title would be on the line. I love that we’re going back to the format of, “the winner of this match gets a title shot at Mania.” I’m going to take a stab at something. They’re going to do something with Sami Zayn. I don’t know if he’s going to be the one to dethrone Gunther, or if he’s going to be in the World Heavyweight Championship match at Mania XL, but they’ve got big plans for him. Wouldn’t it be something if he somehow got into this match…and what if he won?! You heard it here first, folks. Then again, if Sami is not part of this match, then I’ll roll with the hottest heel of 2024 so far…Drew McIntyre.

Bonus Question #1: What two wrestlers will start the match? (One point for each correct answer) Logan Paul and Kevin Owens
Bonus Question #2: Who will be the final entrant into the match? Drew McIntyre

Colin: Same logic of the women’s Chamber match, no one from Smackdown should win this. Drew McIntyre is the only one – storyline-wise – that makes sense winning the match. Is it predictable? Yes, but predictable is OK when it makes sense. Time to let Drew run with the title.

Bonus Question #1: What two wrestlers will start the match? (One point for each correct answer) LA Knight and Logan Paul

Alright everybody! That’s going to do it for the Elimination Chamber Pick’em report! We will see you in April for WrestleMania XL!! @TheMagnumDA signing off.
