WWE Survivor Series 2021 PPV Pick’em report

Hey everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA with yet another Pick’em report for this month’s WWE PPV. This month, it’s the classic Survivor Series PPV, and while this show is notorious for people getting swerved at this show, we will leave no doubt about the status of the WOPC Championship after tonight. Colin won the gold at Crown Jewel, but tonight he faces yours truly in a rematch from that show. Who will be champion after the Survivor Series? It’s time to find out!

ON WITH THE PICKS!

25-Man Dual-Branded Battle Royal
Participants: AJ Styles, Angel, Angelo Dawkins, Apollo Crews, Cedric Alexander, Cesaro, Chad Gable, Commander Azeez, Dolph Ziggler, Drew Gulak, Erik, Humberto, Ivar, Jinder Mahal, Mansoor, Montez Ford, Omos, Otis, R-Truth, Ricochet, Robert Roode, Sami Zayn, Shanky, Shelton Benjamin, and T-BAR

Colin: The usual “let’s give everyone a payday” match. What does the winner get? Nothing? No incentive? Title shot? Anything? Bahhhh! Whatever. This will probably occupy the Kickoff show, I’ll be surprised if it’s on the main card. I’m picking AJ Styles to win it.

Magnum: Well, I’m not going to waste any time differing from my colleague here. If he’s going to say AJ’s winning it, then I’m rolling with Omos. Ha! How’s that for a swerve?

Raw vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions Match (non-title)
RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) (Raw Tag Team Champions) vs. The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (SmackDown Tag Team Champions)

Colin: This could be a good one if everyone clicks. While I enjoy the RK-Bro combo, I can’t wait for them to turn on each other and split. Having said that, predicting an RK-Bro win this time around and The Usos will then come good in the main event.

Magnum: Yeah, I’ve also got RK-Bro here as well – I think this could be one of their last big wins before dropping the titles. You’ve gotta think that Randy and Matt are on a collision course towards WrestleMania, right?

Raw vs. SmackDown Men’s Champions Match (non-title)
Damian Priest (US Champion) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (IC Champion)

Colin: Who could use a win more here? In my opinion, Nakamura should be main event level competitor and not stuck in the mid card. But Damian Priest will benefit more of a win than Nakamura who at the moment is just floating and Priest’s star is still rising. Priest wins.

Magnum: I think Priest also has rising stock here, plus I think Nakamura has more enemies. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Humberto/Perez combination tries to interfere in this match. Either way, I’m also rolling with Priest.

Raw vs. SmackDown Survivor Series Men’s Match
Team Raw (Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, and Austin Theory) (with MVP) vs. Team SmackDown (Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, King Woods, Happy Corbin, and Sheamus) (with Madcap Moss and Ridge Holland)

Colin: That’s quite a Raw team, isn’t it? But I’m looking at Drew McIntyre who WWE is trying to build back as a dominant force and I can’t see him being on the losing side tonight. Give me a Team Smackdown win.

Magnum: Man, I thought we were going to have wildly different picks all night! I guess that’s not the case…because I also have Team Smackdown winning this. I am not sure who will be the sole survivors, but I see Team Raw imploding before it’s all said and done.

Raw vs. SmackDown Survivor Series Women’s Match
Team Raw (Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Carmella, and Queen Zelina) vs. Team SmackDown (Sasha Banks, Shayna Baszler, Shotzi, Natalya, and Toni Storm)

Colin: On paper, team Smackdown is better equipped to win this match but I’m thinking they will keep Belair the strongest here and somehow Team Raw will win this match with at least Belair as a survivor.

Magnum: Yeah, I can’t deny Team Raw…they’re going to win this. I see tensions flaring within Team Smackdown, and a possible blow-up between Shotzi and Sasha. I could definitely see Bianca and Rhea surviving this.

Raw vs. SmackDown Women’s Champions Match (non-title)
Becky Lynch (Raw Women’s Champion) vs. Charlotte Flair (SmackDown Women’s Champion)

Colin: This should be the main event of Survivor Series. It’s the only match I really care for to be honest. Interesting which way it goes and I’m expecting a feisty match! Who wins? Good question, I’m really not sure who will get this one. Double DQ? Count-out? I’m not picking a winner and this will go to a no-contest.

Magnum: A no-contest?! Hey, I’ll take a stab at this one – I think Charlotte is the one Vince is trying to placate, so I’ll take Charlotte.

Raw vs. SmackDown Men’s Champions Match (non-title)
Big E (WWE Champion) vs. Roman Reigns (Universal Champion) (with Paul Heyman)

Colin: I can’t see Roman lose here, even if it’s a non-title match. Considering how things went down this past Friday on Smackdown with Big E getting the upper hand, I’m expecting a Roman win, probably not clean and with interference from The Usos, but still a win.

Magnum: This one should be a lot more difficult than it is…but let’s be frank. Roman’s the man, and nobody is touching him. All the King’s horses, and all the King’s men…couldn’t help Big E from being speared, in the end. Roman dominates.

Okay everyone, that’s going to do it for us from the Pick’em crew. Enjoy the show, and Happy Thanksgiving to our American fans! @TheMagnumDA signing off.
