WWE Survivor Series War Games PPV Pick’em report

Hello everybody! Happy Thanksgiving weekend and thank you for joining us for the Pick’em report. Tonight, for the first time EVER, we’re going to WAR!! It’s Survivor Series WAR GAMES, and tonight Colin will defend his WOPC Championship against yours truly @TheMagnumDA. We’ve got bonus questions for both War Games matches, so we will leave no doubt about who the champion is. What are we waiting for?!

ON WITH THE PICKS!!!

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Shotzi

Magnum: This ranks pretty low on the list of all-time Ronda Rousey appearances on PPV. The build to this has been totally unspectacular. Shotzi has been destroyed at nearly every turn. I have far more interest in a Rousey/Bazsler matchup, but of course that’s down the road. As for tonight? Ronda wins.

Colin: I don’t think there’s anyone who thinks Shotzi has a shot in hell of winning this one. No disrespect to her, obviously, but I can’t see Ronda losing this one. I think Rousey is gonna keep it till Mania.

AJ Styles (with The O.C. (Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Mia Yim)) vs. Finn Bálor (with The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley))

Magnum:
Glad to see the Good Brothers back in the fold – I’ve gotta believe that Rey is going to have something to do with this match, especially considering what happened at the Mysterio household on Thanksgiving Day. I’m going to take AJ Styles in this one.

Colin: Judgment Day is due for a loss. They’ve been booked strong and a loss here for Finn Balor shouldn’t hurt him. Plus, AJ needs a PPV win badly and the last time these two met each other, Balor came on top. So I’m picking AJ for the W.

United States Championship – Triple Threat
Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Austin Theory

Magnum: I think this will be a really good match, actually. Rollins is one of the best Triple Threat wrestlers in the history of WWE – he has been in some of the most entertaining TT matches, going back to Rumble 2015 and WrestleMania XXXIV. I think Rollins will carry the load again tonight, and retain the US Title.

Colin: I like that they’re trying to make the United States title feel important in the absence of a world title. Putting it on Rollins was a great idea. Having Theory cash in on it was interesting to say the least. Rollins should walk out of this one still champion and my freakin’ choice is Rollins

Women’s War Games Match
Team Belair (Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Mia Yim, and Becky Lynch) vs. Team Bayley (Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky), Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley)

Magnum: The inclusion of “The Man” Becky Lynch makes this great match even better. I can’t wait to see what they’re going to do. I think there’s a lot more uncertainty on Bayley’s side, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Becky make someone tap to end this match. Give me Team Belair

Bonus #1: Who is the final entrant in the match? Becky Lynch
Bonus #2: Who gets the winning pin/submission? Becky Lynch
Bonus #3: Who takes the losing fall? Nikki Cross

Colin: I’m sad Sasha Banks is not in this one. I was really, really, really hoping that she was ready to return. This would have been the perfect place for her to return, being in Boston and all that. We got The Man as the fifth member and we shouldn’t really be bitching about it, but here I am doing just that. Anyway, I have a feeling the heels will pick up the victory here, so Team Bayley

Bonus #1: Who is the final entrant in the match? Becky Lynch
Bonus #2: Who gets the winning pin/submission? Rhea Ripley
Bonus #3: Who takes the losing fall? Mia Yim

Men’s War Games Match
The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch), Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, and The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso)) (with Paul Heyman)

Magnum: I keep thinking about the history of War Games…and in 1992, Larry Zybysko destroyed Bobby Eaton’s arm with an errant shot to the arm with a turnbuckle shaft. Could history repeat itself? Absolutely. I think Sami could be in the Zybysko role, and of all people…Jey Uso could be in the Eaton role. Matter of fact, that’s exactly how I think this match will go down. Give me The Brutes to win it all.

Bonus #1: Who is the final entrant in the match? Roman Reigns
Bonus #2: Who gets the winning pin/submission? Kevin Owens
Bonus #3: Who takes the losing fall? Jey Uso

Colin: I can see Sami Zayn some way, somehow costing this match for The Bloodline and we kick start the process of booting Zayn out of the group. Chamber is in Montreal and I really can see Owens and Zayn team up to take on The Usos for the titles. Imagine that. My pick goes for Brutes, Drew, and KO to pick up the victory.

Bonus #1: Who is the final entrant in the match? Roman Reigns
Bonus #2: Who gets the winning pin/submission? Kevin Owens
Bonus #3: Who takes the losing fall? Sami Zayn

Alright fans, that’s going to do it for us here at WO. Enjoy the show, we’ll see you next time for the PPV Pick’em report! @TheMagnumDA signing off.
