Awesome Kong returns to TNA at Impact

Kia Stevens, better known to wrestling fans as Awesome Kong and Kharma, made her surprise return on Impact’s first episode on Destination America yesterday.

Stevens left TNA back in March 2010 after spending nearly three years with the company and in an interview a couple of years later vowed to never work for TNA Wrestling again.

She joined WWE in April 2011 but her stint there was short lived as she announced she was pregnant a month after making her debut as Kharma. In January 2012, she appeared at the Royal Rumble and was never seen again.

Her return as Awesome Kong last night came after the Knockouts battle royal match and stared down Havok and then chokeslammed referee Brian Stiffler.

Fans inside the Manhattan Center chanted “Holy sh!t” after the lights came on to reveal her return as Kong smiled. You can see the video of her return below.
