Bully Ray reportedly says goodbye to TNA roster

PWInsider.com and The Wrestling Observer are both reporting that former TNA champion Bully Ray said goodbye to members of the roster during the weekend and told them that he is not expecting to be with the company after his contract expires in a few days.

This puts TNA in an awkward position as apart from being the man to drive Dixie Carter through a table in one of the company’s biggest angles ever, Ray and Devon are scheduled to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in Japan next month during the Bound For Glory weekend.

The other problem for the company is that Bully Ray, along with Devon, is currently in a program with The Wolves and Matt and Jeff Hardy and have another match set for the next television tapings whenever that might be.

He has been with TNA since 2005 and over the past couple of years has emerged as a very successful singles wrestler, heading the Aces & Eights, be in a program with Hulk Hogan, and winning the TNA title.
