CM Punk visits backstage at Impact Wrestling TV tapings

CM Punk showed up at the Impact Wrestling television tapings yesterday at the Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois according to Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling.

The report states that Punk showed up just before the tapings started and hung around backstage talking to anyone who wished to chat.

This is the second time this year that Punk was backstage at an Impact Wrestling tapings in Chicago, having showed up unannounced at an event in April. He also visited WWE when the company was in town at the Allstate Arena but that visit was cut short.

Punk was fired from AEW last month for his involvement in the fight with Jack Perry at All In in London, England.
