Impact Knockouts champion Deoona Purrazzo has signed a long-term deal with the company. The announcement was made during the Impact Press Pass two days ago.
Purrazzo appeared on Impact Wrestling in late May after she was cut from NXT during the mass layoffs at WWE due to the coronavirus pandemic. She quickly became one of the top women in Impact and beat Jordynne Grace for the title at Slammiversary in July.
The champ wrote on Twitter that she had been waiting to talk about the news publicly and she’s happy and excited to see what the future holds for her.
This is her second stint with Impact after she had appearances with them from 2014 to 2017 before moving to Stardom and eventually WWE.
