Deonna Purrazzo wins the ROH Women’s title on Impact

There’s a new ROH Women’s champion in town and the belt is now occupied by Impact’s Deonna Purrazzo who is also the AAA Reina de Reinas champion.

Purrazzo won the title from Rok-C during last night’s Impact Wrestling show on AXS TV. It was a title for title match so the AAA title was on the line as well.

Rok-C won the title on September 12 at the Death Before Dishonor XVIII show, winning a tournament which started at the end of July. She went through Sumie Sakai, Quinn McKay, Angelina Love, and Miranda Alize in the final to win the title.

Purrazzo, who worked for ROH before, never won the previous version of the title, known as the Women of Honor World Championship. She was part of the original tournament held in 2017, but lost in the quarter final match.

Rok-C was recently part of the WWE tryout but it’s not known if she was offered a contract.
