Dixie Carter addresses rumors of TNA sale

TNA President Dixie Carter took it to Twitter to acknowledge the rumors about her family looking into selling TNA after several financial problems have hit the company.

“Gossip is the opiate of the oppressed” Erica Jong #BlessYourHearts,” Carter wrote, quoting the 71 year old American poet.

The Carters hold around 70% stake in TNA with Jeff Jarrett owning the remaining shares of the company. TNA has been pretty much bleeding money (even more) since they moved Impacts on the road and will now be taping more of their flagship show at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
