Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to film Ken Shamrock’s induction greeting for Impact Hall of Fame

In life, sometimes, all you gotta do is ask! And that’s what Ken Shamrock did yesterday.

The former NWA champion and WWE Intercontinental champion is getting inducted into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame next month and Shamrock asked Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for a small favor to make his HOF induction that much more memorable for him.

In a tweeted directed at The Rock, Shamrock wrote, “Hey brother I am being Inducted into the Impact Wrestling HOF I would be very grateful if you could send a Induction greeting. After all I believe my time with you was my greatest memories in Wrestling. Thank you.”

The two shared quite a few matches – and nasty chair shots – during their WWE heyday and Johnson replied to the tweet, agreeing to do something for Shamrock.

“Congrats, my brother. Awesome news. I will take care of this and get it to you by this weekend,” The Rock tweeted back.

The Shamrock Hall of Fame video featured several WWE footage, including the one where Shamrock beat The Rock to claim the King of The Ring tournament. This would be the first time that Johnson appeared in another wrestling promotion which is not WWE in any role.
