Impact Wrestling debuts tonight on AXS TV

Impact Wrestling is back on “regular” television tonight with its debut on AXS TV.

Impact moved to The Pursuit Channel in January of this year after leaving POP TV. The situation was not ideal for the company as the fishing and outdoor channel did nothing for Impact, not to mention it’s not widely available in homes. AXS TV is at least available in over 50 million homes across the United States.

The show will kick off at 8PM ET and it’s headlined by an Impact World title match between Brian Cage and Sami Callahan in a steel cage. Also scheduled for tonight is Ace Austin vs Eddie Edwards, Rob Van Dam explaining his actions from Bound For Glory, and an update on Ken Shamrock’s future in Impact.

Impact announced its move to AXS TV on September 12 just days after its parent company Anthem Sports & Entertainment acquired a majority interest in the network.
