Jeff Jarrett, Ed Nordholm, Jeremy Borash, Karen Jarrett, and Rafael Morffi were all in Mexico over the weekend to iron out a new deal with Lucha Libre AAA and watch the Rey De Reyes show.
“Building bridges. Our alliance with AAA will bring the best of both promotions together,” said Nordholm, who is the Executive Vice President of Anthem Sports & Entertainment and the man leading the day-to-day operations at Impact Wrestling.
Jarrett said that Impact Wrestling is looking forward to working with the Pro Wrestling NOAH, The Crash Lucha Libre, Lucha Libra AAA and several other promotions over the next few months.
The deal that Impact is securing with these promotions will most likely lead to talent appearing on all promotions that they have a working relationship with. It’s not the first time that Impact has done similar deals. The Hardys had already appeared at The Crash Lucha Libre and won the tag team titles and in 2014 the company held its Bound For Glory pay-per-view in Japan in association with the Wrestle-1 promotion.
