There seems to be one notable change to Impact Wrestling when the first-run shows return to its new home, Destination America.
Mike Tenay, the long time TNA commentator, will be giving up his spot for the younger Josh Mathews, the former WWE broadcaster who was surprisingly let go earlier this year.
Mathews spent 12 years in the WWE and did several commentary work for WWE including Raw, Smackdown, and NXT. He was then moved to host the Raw and pay-per-view pre-shows on the WWE Network before getting axed in June of this year.
Mathews signed a TNA deal as soon as his no-compete clause with WWE expired. He moved to Nashville to work at the TNA headquarters and is currently in charge on redeveloping the new TNA website.
