Ken Shamrock’s Impact HOF induction to take place on Countdown to Glory

Ken Shamrock’s Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame induction will take place on the Countdown to Glory special this Saturday on AXS TV at 7PM ET.

Shamrock becomes the eighth individual to be inducted into the Impact Hall of Fame, joining Sting, Kurt Angle, Team 3D, Jeff Jarrett, Earl Hebner, Gail Kim, and Abyss. The company did not induct anyone in its Hall of Fame last year, the first time they missed it since its inception in 2012.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is supposed to be doing the introduction for Shamrock after the former UFC fighter asked his former WWE arch nemesis if he would be willing to do it in a tweet. Johnson quickly responded by agreeing to film it and congratulated Shamrock on making it to the Hall of Fame.

The Countdown to Glory special will also air on Impact’s social media channels and it will lead to the live pay-per-view starting at 8PM ET.
