The speculation of who the mystery opponent for John Cena’s United States title is got hotter after earlier today, TNA Hall of Famer Kurt Angle posted a photo of his Instagram in Los Angeles along with WWE commentator Booker T.
“Great catching up with my good friend Booker T in LA this weekend. Awesome memories,” Angle wrote, adding the hashtags #WWE, #TNA, and #MainEventMafia. The two were part of the Main Event Mafia group in TNA in 2008 that included Sting, Nash, Steiner, and Samoa Joe as well.
With Hell In A Cell in Los Angeles tonight there’s still no hint on who will take on Cena. Cena is expected to be out for up to six weeks following tonight so chances are that whoever is facing him will walk out with the United States title.
Angle is still under contract with TNA till the end of January 2016. You can see the photo Angle posted below.
