Kurt Angle rushed to hospital and undergoes emergency surgery

Kurt Angle is back in hospital following complications from his recent neck surgery that removed a benign tumor.

A message posted by Kurt Angle’s management team on his Twitter said that Angle was experiencing severe pain and lost feeling in his extremities yesterday as well as difficulty breathing. His wife rushed the former WWE and TNA champion to hospital where doctors found a large buildup of fluid on his spinal cord.

“Since the condition could be fatal, they immediately underwent emergency surgery to relieve the pressure on his spine,” the statement said. A full recovery is expected.

Angle was preparing to fly to London to appear at the Comic Con this weekend but obviously that has been canceled.

Kurt underwent neck surgery just seven days ago in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a surgery which was performed by his long time doctor Dr. Jho.
