Lashley’s next MMA opponent set for October 21 fight

Current TNA champion Bobby Lashley will be returning to mixed martial arts on October 21 for Bellator at an event held in Memphis, Tennessee.

Lashley’s MMA record currently stands at 14-2 and he is currently on a 7-fight winning streak. His last MMA fight was against James Thompson at Bellator 145 in November 2015, a fight he won via TKO. Thompson is the one who gave Lashley his second loss on his record back in 2012 via a unanimous decision.

His opponent will be Josh Appelt, a 33-year-old who has a 12-5 MMA record. He is on a 2-fight winning streak, and last fought in January 2016.
