Major spoilers from the first AXS TV Impact Wrestling tapings

Impact Wrestling held its first AXS TV tapings yesterday in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and started off with a huge title change in a match that will headline next Tuesday’s Impact Wrestling.

Impact champion Brian Cage faced Sami Callihan in a steel cage match in a rematch from their Bound For Glory pay-per-view match but this time around, the outcome was different as Callihan managed to pin Cage and win his first major singles title.

Brian Cage’s Impact title reign was marred with an injury that kept him on the sidelines for a while after he won the title from Jonny Impact at the Rebellion pay-per-view in April. He held the title for six months.

Following the match, Tessa Blanchard made her presence felt and came out for a stare-down with the new champion. Blanchard and Callihan have a long history together in Impact Wrestling, having an intergender match at Slammiversary a couple of months ago.

Impact moves to AXS TV this coming Tuesday at 8PM ET.
