PWInsider.com is reporting that both Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis have also departed TNA, following the exists of Drew Galloway, Matt Hardy, and Jeff Hardy, and will not be at the Impact television tapings that start tomorrow in Orlando.
Both their contracts expired in late 2016 and were working on per-appearance deals according to Mike Johnson who wrote the report. Apparently, the duo initially agreed to sign a new deal but later informed TNA management that they would not be putting pen to paper.
Bennett and his wife – married since October 2014 – made their TNA debut in January of last year after stints with Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. He won the X Division title once during his year-long stay with TNA while Maria won the Knockouts title once as well.
The two have yet to publicly address their departure.
