New Impact World champion to be crowned at Rebellion 2023

A new Impact World champion will be crowned at the Rebellion pay-per-view on Sunday, April 16 in Toronto.

With Josh Alexander out injured for months, it will be Steve Maclin or KUSHIDA who will walk out of Canada with the title next month as the two have been selected to headline the pay-per-view.

Alexander was supposed to defend the title against KUSHIDA at the Multiverse United show next week, a co-branded show between Impact Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling in Los Angeles.

His replacement will be announced at a later date.
