New TNA US TV champion to be crowned on IMPACT

A new TNA TV champion will be crowned tomorrow night on IMPACT Wrestling as the title which is currently held by the departed Devon was vacated.

Four men will plead their case as to why they should get the title shot to Hulk Hogan in the ‘Championship Thursday’ episode. These are Samoa Joe, Garett Bischoff, Magnus and Mr. Anderson.

Later in the show, the Hulkster will make the decision on who will be wrestling who for the title, giving two men their chance while disappointing the remaining two.

The TNA website states that negotiations between Devon and TNA reached an impasse after a month full of negotiations. “As of today, The TNA TV Championship last held by Devon is vacated.  TNA hopes that Devon returns to the active roster in the future,” read the small statement.
