Sami Callihan and Mike Santana return to TNA

Matt Hardy was not the only former star to return to TNA last night as both Sami Callihan and Mike Santana also returned at Rebellion.

Santana showed up and wrestled former TNA World champion Steve Maclin in a match which was not advertised on the card. This was Santana’s first appearance in TNA since 2019 after he and his former tag team partner Ortiz left for AEW. Unfortunately the former TNA Tag Team champions, things fell apart between them last year and parted ways, with Santana also leaving AEW.

Callihan, another former TNA World champion, also showed up unannounced at Rebellion and made an appearance during the Knockouts title match as he tried to somewhat even the odds for champion Jordynne Grace. Callihan left TNA in September of last year after a six-year stint.

It remains unclear if both have signed a deal with the company at this point.
